What is the difference between thermal paper and regular paper?

Thermal paper is different from regular paper in that it’s coated with a mixture of dye and chemicals. When heated above the melting point, the dye reacts to the chemicals causing a shift to a colored form (typically black but occasionally blue or red).
1.Print out different results

Thermal paper stickers have a special coating on the surface, which will become black when it meets heat, and the content printed on it will disappear soon if it is used as printing paper; ordinary coated stickers will not disappear if it is used as printing paper, and will be retained for a long time.

2.Different ways of printing
One is thermal printing, one is thermal transfer printing.

3.Different quality
The thermal printing paper used in cash registers is generally divided into three layers, the bottom layer is the paper base, the second layer is the thermal coating, the third layer is the protective layer, the primary impact on its quality is the thermal coating or protective layer, while ordinary paper will not.
